With the debut single of ‘We Close Our Eyes’ in 1985, Go West, made up of Peter Cox and Richard Drummie has had various top 10 hits including ‘The King of wishful thinking’ was featured in the smash hit movie ‘Pretty Woman”.
Their album ‘Go West’ sold 2 million copies worldwide and remained on the UK chart for 83 weeks, establishing them as one of the finest song-writing partnerships to emerge in the 80s.

Pat was a DJ on BBC Radio 1 in the early 80s appearing on Top of the Pops. In the late-1980s, he teamed up with Mick Brown as the duo Pat and Mick, to release the charity singles “Let’s All Chant” and “I Haven’t Stopped Dancing Yet”. Both songs made the Top 20 of the UK singles charts. You will also of course recognise Pat for hosting the kid’s TV show ‘Fun House’.
